So forget about taking your laptop or Ipod trhough customs,since ANYTHING could be considered illegally copied (let's say the .exe file of a game that is copied from game copy world in order to avoid carrying and using the gamne's DVD),or anything you forwarded from your home pc or anything that the goverment software considers "illegal". There is no argument to be made to them,it's Homeland Security married to Big Brother snooping into people's private belongings and confiscating electronics. So put everything in thumb drives,hide them well and lug your laptop/Ipod with nothing in it (which defeats the purpose of portability anyway). Imagine the additional wait in line for the seminar trained idiots,to check and confiscate people's electronics...
